CLEAR-CREATE-CONNECT RETREATS
1. Booking
(a) To place a booking with AOL & BWS, we require the completed booking form together with the agreed deposit payment. If a booking is made by telephone, e-mail or via the website, the client shall be deemed to have read & fully understood these conditions & accepted the declaration on the booking form. All bookings are provisional & are only confirmed when the deposit payment has cleared AOL & BWS bank account.
(b)AOL & BWS reserves the right to decline any booking at their discretion and/or to minors under the age of 16.
2. Payment
(a) Upon the successful payment of the retreat/course fee by the client, a contract is formed for the agreed program to be delivered.
(b) The full retreat course fee / remaining balance is payable no less than 30 days before the commencement of the retreat/course unless agreed otherwise on confirmation of booking. If a booking is made within 1 month of start date, then a payment in full is required. In the event that the balance is not paid AOL & BWS will have the discretion to treat the booking as cancelled by the client & to re-sell the course place, the initial deposit fee paid by the client will be retained by AOL & BWS..
3. Your Travel Arrangements
All travel arrangements are your responsibility and at your own cost. We shall not be held liable for any consequences arising from delays or cancellations in any of the companies you may have made arrangements with, or for any irregularities in your documentation required for travel. Transfers to/from the retreat are at your own cost, unless otherwise specified on the retreat/event page.
4. Travel Insurance
(a) Travel insurance is mandatory. It is advisable that your travel insurance covers the activity of this retreat as well as unexpected cancellation, sickness, losses and all the usual risks. You should bring the policy with you in case of an emergency.
5. Your Health
(a) It is your responsibility to let the retreat organiser know if you have any injuries and to be mindful at all times of your own body’s capability during the retreat. If you experience any injury or discomfort during any activity during the retreat, then you must desist immediately and inform a facilitator.
(b) It is also your responsibility to consult a doctor with an understanding of (any of the physical activities listed) to check that you are sufficiently fit and healthy to undertake the classes and other physical activities that you may choose to do whilst on the retreat / event.
(c) Please advise us of any mental or physical health conditions and dietary requirements before you book. If you have health conditions and dietary requirements that may be affected by the activities offered on our retreats we reserve the right to advise you to desist and in the interests of your wellbeing, or others, we may decline your stay at our retreats.
(d) Whilst all measures are taken to ensure a high standard of health and safety, sometimes we maybe situated in nature and other places where the land is uneven and we shall not be responsible for any injuries caused by uneven terrain.
(e) It is your responsibility to check with your doctor or care provider to determine whether you need/want any vaccines or medication to travel. We are not liable for any illness.
6. Contraindications
Breathwork results in certain specific physiological changes in the body and also can result in intense physical and emotional release. For safety purposes, we can-not allow persons with the following conditions to participate in a breathwork session:
Epilepsy
Detached Retina
Glaucoma
Prior diagnosis by a health professional of bipolar disorder or schizophrenia
Osteoporosis that is serious enough whereby moving around actively could cause potential issues.
High Blood Pressure that is not controlled with medication.
Pregnancy
Cardiovascular disease and/or irregularities including prior heart attack
If either you have had an aneurysm or if two members in your immediate family have had one.
Use of prescription blood thinning medications such as Coumadin
Hospitalization for any psychiatric condition or emotional crisis during the past 10 years.
Strokes, seizures, TIAs or other brain/neurological condition or disease
If you have been diagnosed with PTSD and still have very strong symptoms, you are required to get your therapist’s approval to participate and discuss with us before you register.
Any other medical, psychiatric or physical conditions which would impair or affect ability to engage in any activities that involve intense physical and/or emotional release.
Please consult with a Doctor if you have asthma that impacts your day to day life and be sure to advise us.
7. Cancellation by you (the client)
(a) All deposits are non -refundable. If the client wishes to cancel the contract, they must advise AOL & BWS in writing as soon as reasonably possible. Any cancellation of the contract will be subject to the following cancellation charges.
- Less than 4 weeks to start date of the retreat / event –No refund will be offered. 100% of the cost of the retreat will be retained by AOL & BWS.
- Any periods over 4 weeks from the start date of the retreat / event – The deposit will be retained by AOL & BWS.
In some situations, cancellations and refunds can be viewed with discretion, depending on the circumstances. We will always try to find a fair solution.
(b) Refunds are made minus any applicable / relevant bank charges or card payment fees. Bank transfer refunds are made in the currency we deem appropriate. Refunds are made minus any third-party commissions where applicable.
(c) Bookings are for the agreed stated period of the retreat. There are no refunds for an unused portion of the retreat. If the reason for cancellation is covered under the terms of your Insurance Policy, you may be able to make a claim on your insurance.
8. Amendments by us (AOL & BWS)
(a) AOL & BWS reserves the right, at any time, to alter the content of the services at any time without notice to the client due to certain factors, including, but not limited to the weather, staff, accommodation & any physical or mental fitness of the clients.
(b) We cannot be held responsible for events out of our control. We reserve the right in any circumstances to cancel a retreat / event, if deemed necessary.
9. Our liability to you
(a) We accept responsibility for ensuring that the retreats are supplied as described and that the services we are contractually obliged to provide are to a reasonable standard.
(b) We do not accept any liability for cancellations, delays or changes caused by war, threat of war, terrorist actions or threats, closure of airports, civil strife, industrial action, natural disaster, technical problems to transport, staff cancellations, unforeseen changes in your personal circumstances, covid related illnesses, governmental restrictions or other events beyond our control.
(c) We are not liable for any injuries you may incur. All the breathing and exercise classes and all activities, workshops, and anything else is undertaken at your own risk. We are not liable for any medical or psychiatric conditions, which may develop during or after the retreat. We are not liable for loss of, or damage to, your personal property.
10. No Liability for possessions
It is your responsibility to ensure that your possessions are kept safe at all times. We are not liable for loss of, damage to, or theft of any of your personal property.
11. Complaints
If you have a problem during your retreat, please inform the organisers immediately in private and he/she will endeavour to put things right. Please note that we cannot be responsible for the individual behaviour of any group member or other guest sharing your accommodation.
12. Privacy Policy
We do not share customer details with any 3rd parties. Any personal information that you provide to us will be used only for the service you requested.
13. Photography & Videography
I, for good and valuable consideration, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, hereby irrevocably authorise Alchemy of Life, Breathe with Suki and Clear Create Connect Retreats (the companies) to use photographs and/or videos of myself and/or my property and authorize them and their assignees, licensees, legal representatives and transferees to use and publish (with or without my name) photographs, pictures, portraits or images in any and all forms and media, and the purposes of publicity, illustration, commercial art, advertising, publishing (including publishing in electronic form on CDs or internet websites), for any product or services, or other lawful uses as may be determined by Alchemy of Life, Breathe with Suki and Clear Create Connect Retreats. I further waive any and all rights to review or approve any uses of the images, any written copy or finished product. I am of full legal age and have read and fully understand the terms of this release.
If you do not want to be in any of the photos or videos, that is fine, but you must inform us in advance.
14. Extra Information
(a) I or my representative(s) agree to fully release and hold harmless Alchemy of Life, Breathe with Suki or Clear Create Connect Retreats (the companies) and all members of staff) from and against any and all claims or liability of whatsoever kind or nature arising out of or in connection with Alchemy of Life, Breathe with Suki or Clear Create Connect retreats (the companies and all members of staff).
(b) I agree that I shall not in any way conduct myself inappropriately.
(c) I understand that the materials and workshops must not be filmed and permission must be received from the retreat organiser for photography. We hold the right to refuse photography/videography of any of the workshops.
(d) I understand that the materials, workshops, sessions I attend and knowledge I gain can not be appropriated. I am not allowed to copy, share, and/or distribute any of the materials or knowledge learned. I am not allowed to teach the materials to other professionals for free and/or for money. If you are attending a certification program, or you have written permission, then you may offer the services to your clients under the agreed brand name and terms and conditions will be separately provided to you.
(e) I understand that I am free to withdraw from or reduce my participation in the activities, programs, and sessions at any time.
(f) I acknowledge and understand that I am using the facilities at the retreats at my own risk. In consideration for being permitted to participate in services, I agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages, known or unknown, which I might incur as a result of participating in the services offered and/or my presence at the premises at which the retreats operate.
(g) This agreement is intended to constitute a complete release of any responsibility by releasees for personal injuries and/or property loss/damage sustained by me or anyone accompanying me, while attending the retreat, whether engaged in the offered services or not.
(h) I agree to indemnify and hold releasees harmless from any and all liability and damages incurred arising out of my conduct or activity (or the conduct or activities of those for whom I am responsible) while attending the retreat or participating in offered services.
(i) I understand that if I act in an inappropriate manner to anyone during the retreat, if I cause any inconveniences then I may be asked to leave the retreat and no compensation or refunds will be provided.
